Pimpri-Chinchwad: A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her mother's boyfriend in Pimpri-Chinchwad. The girl informed her mother about the incident, following which a police team was called to the school.
Pankaj Baburao Dhotre (45) The accused has been identified as Hardeep Singh. Senior police inspector Nitin Patangare confirmed the incident. The girl's parents have been separated for six years. The victim and her brother live with their mother in a society in Ravet. The accused works as a manager in a private firm. He is married and has children. The girl's mother works in a bank.
The girl's mother and Pankaj have been in a relationship since 2019. Pankaj comes to the girl's house four to five times a week. Pankaj had tried to have an affair with the girl a year ago when her mother was not at home. But she ignored it. On August 8, Pankaj raped the girl again when she was alone at home. After she screamed, he let her go. On August 28, the girl went to school and narrated the incident to her class teacher. The teacher immediately informed the principal about the incident. The principal called the female police officer of the Damini team and told her about the incident with the girl. Police sub-inspector Sandeep Patil is investigating the case.
