The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested Sanjeev Jadhavar, Deputy Collector, General Administration Department, Palghar District Collectorate, for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000.

The deputy collector demanded a bribe for approving the land case and the Mumbai Anti-Corruption Bureau laid a trap while accepting the bribe from the complainant. The complainant had approached the sub-collector, general administration department, Sanjeev Jadhavar, with a case to claim the land of a tribal account holder in Wada. (Palghar Bribe Case)


Although the legal process was completed in this case, Deputy Collector Sanjeev Jadhavar demanded a bribe of Rs 50,000 from the complainant to approve the case. The complainant then lodged a complaint with the Mumbai police.

After verifying the entire case, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted an inquiry at the Palghar district collector's office. 13). The complainant reached the Palghar district collector's office and contacted sub-collector Jadhavar.
