After Pune, car crushed three people in Nagpur, liquor bottles seized from the car, four arrested.

A woman's leg was broken after being hit by a car, while her three-month-old child is under the supervision of doctors. A total of seven people have been injured in the accident.

After a car accident in Pune, another incident occurred in Nagpur, Maharashtra, where a car hit seven people. Three of them sustained serious injuries, including a three-month-old child. The people at the scene assaulted the driver of the car, who was found with liquor bottles and drugs in the vehicle. The event transpired in the Jenda Chowk area of Nagpur.

According to Nagpur DCP Gorakh Bhamre, a speeding car collided with pedestrians near Natraj Talkies of Kotwali Police Station around 8:30 pm on Friday, resulting in seven injuries, three of which were severe. An individual suffered a broken leg, while the infant is receiving medical care. The driver attempted to flee but was apprehended and assaulted by the public, leading to his arrest along with two others.

The accused, approximately 20 years old, was found with liquor bottles and marijuana. In a separate incident in Pune, a 17-year-old driver fatally struck two bikers, identified as Anish Awadhiya and Ashwini Costa, who were engineers. After the accident, the public beat the driver before handing him over to the authorities. Initially granted bail, the court later revoked it and charged him under various sections including rash driving and causing death by negligence.

The accused was briefly detained, released upon writing an essay on road accidents, and ordered to assist the traffic police for 15 days. Subsequently, due to an escalation in the situation, four individuals, including the accused's father, were arrested, and the accused was sent to an observation home.
