An image of Bangladesh MP Anwarul Azim, who disappeared from Kolkata on May 13, was found murdered in the city, according to the West Bengal police. A Bangladesh police team, which arrived in Kolkata, will collaborate with the West Bengal CID to thoroughly investigate the MP's murder. The team aims to question the detained suspects, visit Anwarul Azim Anar's residence in Baranagar, and interview the MP's friend and landlord.

A senior state CID officer confirmed their willingness to support the Bangladesh detectives and share all relevant evidence in their possession. The search for the missing MP began when Gopal Biswas, a Baranagar resident and a friend of Anar, reported his disappearance to the local police on May 18.
