Bhagyashree Navtake, the main suspect in the BHR fraud case, has filed a complaint against 2 DCPs, 1 ACP, 6 SR PI, 2 API, 1 PSI and four others.

Sunil Zawar, the main suspect in the BHR scam, had filed a complaint with the Home Department. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Bhagyashree Navtake has been named as an accused in the case. The case has been registered at Bund Garden police station in Pune. These include the names of several police officers who were involved in the raid in Jalgaon. Sunil Jhanwar was arrested in connection with the BHR scam. He was granted bail by the Supreme Court in February 2022.


Two FIRs have been registered in the matter, one each in Pune and Shikarpur. The case was being investigated by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Pune Police. Bhagyashree Navtake was the Deputy Commissioner of Police of the Economic Offences Wing at the time. Under his leadership, raids were conducted at more than 10 places in Jalgaon at the same time. Sunil Zanwar and others had brought to light several irregularities during the raid. Another person paid for the food of the police officers and staff who went for the raid. It was also reported that the private vehicles used for the raid belonged to others. Sunil Jhanwar had alleged that he was being framed for political reasons.

The complainant, Sunil Jhanwar, said that a false FIR was lodged against him.
He was kept in custody for six months with no relation to his son. Three FIRs have been lodged.
Complaints were filed in the name of fake complainants. The government has changed.
At night, 135 police officers and staff were brought in to arrest me.
We have reported many such cases to the Home Ministry.
