On Tuesday evening, A boat transporting passengers from Solapur's Ujani Dam to Budali arrived around 12:00. An attempt to rescue the passengers was made by another boat, with Police Sub-Inspector Rahul Dongre onboard, managing to save several lives. After 17 hours of relentless efforts, the boat was successfully recovered, though six passengers remain missing.

A sense of trepidation lingers in the air. The NDRF team is in route to search for the missing passengers, as the Budali boat was extracted from 35 feet of water, revealing a passenger named Yash Aale Asun Ti.

The boat, traveling from Kugaon to Indapur, experienced a breakdown on Tuesday evening. The police swiftly responded to the incident, initiating relief efforts and coordinating with local boats for the search operation.

The bravery of Police Sub-Inspector Rahul Dongre, who found himself in the water after the boat launch, garnered attention and acclaim. Additionally, MLA Dattatreya Bharne and Madha MP Ranjit Singh Nimbalkar visited the site to assess the situation.
