In the temple of Kulaswamini Sri Tuljabhavani Devi, there was a donation box scam involving 8 crore 45 lakh 97 thousand rupees. Several Chartered Officers are implicated, and the administration is under scrutiny for their involvement. The Bombay High Court has overturned the government's decision to halt the investigation into the scam. The inquiry committee has directed the filing of criminal cases against the guilty chartered officers, auctioneers, temple employees, trustees, and others.

Despite the High Court's order, there are delays in initiating the cases. The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has issued a warning that a protest will be staged if criminal cases are not filed promptly. Sunil Ghanwat, the committee's organizer from Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, disclosed this information in a press conference in Dharshiv city. Suresh Kulkarni, the founding member of Hindu Vidhigya Parishad and the original complainant, along with members of the Maharashtra Temple Federation, were present.

After a 9-year legal battle, the efforts of Hindu Vidhigya Parishad and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti have succeeded with the High Court's ruling, bringing relief to millions of devotees. The court has ordered the investigation to continue under the supervision of a senior officer from the Criminal Investigation Department.

Ghanwat expressed determination to see justice served to those who deceived Devannidhi. Suresh Kulkarni, representing the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti before the High Court, emphasized the need for a full-time collector-level officer to manage the Tulja Bhawani Devi temple, the establishment of a temple committee constitution, increased CCTV surveillance, annual security checks, and auditing of the temple's funds and assets. Failure to comply may result in a contempt petition despite the court's directives.

A case related to the jewelry embezzlement at Tuljabhavani Devi has been filed, but the investigation progresses slowly. Kishore Gangane, the main complainant and former Pujari Mandal president, urged swift action against the perpetrators. Additionally, Lawyer Suresh Kulkarni highlighted that the CID's final report on the temple's donation box scam includes 42 officers and employees.
