A group of students from NC Jingle School in Punjabi Colony, West Vihar, Delhi, visited Mukteshwar. On Wednesday around 4 o'clock, while boarding the bus to Bhalugad in Dhari, the bus unexpectedly veered off the road and overturned in a field, causing the children on board to scream. Fortunately, only five children and the driver were in the bus, all sustaining minor injuries and receiving treatment at a private hospital in Haldwani.

The tour, comprising 130 students from a private school in Delhi, had arrived on Tuesday evening. The school teacher mentioned that three buses transported the students to Haldwani, where they then traveled to Mukteshwar in five buses for the tour. During boarding for the Mukteshwar trip on Wednesday evening, the bus slid off the road and overturned in the field, resulting in injuries to the bus driver and students Robin, Divyanshu, Shreyansh, Pradyuman, and Shikhar, all aged 17.

With only five children on board, they have been hospitalized in Haldwani for treatment, and their families have been notified. This five-day tour was planned to include visits to Mukteshwar on Wednesday, Nainital on Thursday, and Jim Corbett thereafter, accompanied by 14 teachers. SHO Kamit Joshi reported that the police were alerted to the accident via 112, responding promptly to rescue everyone.

Bus driver Kailash Joshi and student Pradyuman, both sustaining minor injuries, received medical attention. While the driver was discharged from Padampuri CHC, the student underwent treatment in Haldwani under school management's care. The SHO confirmed the safety of all other students.
