Dharashiv : Campaigning stopped, voting tomorrow; Voting process at two thousand 139 polling stations in ten talukas.

For the past 13 days, the guns of accusations and counter-accusations against each other by the candidates and party leaders who are contesting the Lok Sabha elections have cooled down.

Dharashiv – The accusations and counter-accusations made by the candidates and party leaders who have been querying the Lok Sabha elections for the once 13 days have now cooled down. The voting process will be held on Tuesday, May 7 to elect your MP from among the 31 candidates contesting the election. All preparations for this have been made by the District Election Department.

In Osmanabad Lok Sabha Constituency, 20 lakh four thousand 282 voters will exercise their right to bounce for the forth coming Lok Sabha general election. This includes 10 lakh 58 thousand 156 manly, 9 lakh 46 thousand 48 womanish and 78 third party voters. Dharashiv Lok Sabha Constituency consists of six assembly constituencies videlicet Umarga, Tuljapur, Dharashiv, Paranda, Ausa in Latur district and Barshi in Solapur district.

There will be 2 thousand 139 polling stations in these six assembly constituencies for the voting process. There will be 71 Model Polling Stations in the Lok Sabha Constituency. This includes 1 polling station in Ausa Assembly Constituency, Umarga 17, Tuljapur 17, Dharashiv 17, Paranda 17 and Barshi Assembly Constituency 2. The sensitive polling stations include a total of 8 polling stations videlicet 1 Ausa, 1 Umarga, 2 Tuljapur, 2 Dharashiv, 1 Paranda and 1 Barshi.

In total 6 assembly constituencies in which all the polling officers employees are women, 1 polling station in each of the polling stations where all the polling officers employees are women will take care of the polling process. So the polling station which will be completely staffed by youth officers includes a total of 6 similar polling stations, one in each of the six assembly constituencies. 10 Polling Stations will be manned by Disability Officers.

In this, 5 centers in Ausa assembly constituency, 1 center each in Umarga, Tuljapur, Dharashiv, Paranda and Barshi assembly constituencies will be run by impaired officers- employees. There will be a total of 2139 polling stations in Ausa Assembly Constituency of the Lok Sabha Constituency videlicet 307, Umarga 315, Tuljapur 406, Dharashiv 410, Paranda 372 and Barshi 329. A total of 10 thousand 266 polling officers and staff have been appointed to oversee the voting process of this election, videlicet 1473 in Ausa Assembly Constituency, 1512 in Umarga Assembly Constituency, 1948 in Tuljapur Assembly Constituency, 1968 in Dharashiv Assembly Constituency, 1968 in Paranda Assembly Constituency and 1580 in Barshi Assembly Constituency.

Distribution of voter slips to voters Voter slips with bar canons are being distributed from house to house by the polling station level officers so that the voters don't face any problem while voting, so that they can fluently pierce the polling station, namer list periodical number, part number. This will help the voters to know where their polling station is after surveying the barcode. The district administration has completed medications to give installations so that the voters won't be discommoded at the polling station on the polling day.
