A fire that erupted on the upper floor of Aastha Hospital along the Delhi-Saharanpur Highway has been successfully contained. The early morning blaze took on a frightening intensity, leading to panic among the hospitalized patients. Four fire brigade vehicles promptly arrived at the scene and commenced firefighting efforts. Following extensive work, the fire was brought under control, and the injured individuals were relocated.

Chief Fire Officer Amarendra Pratap Singh confirmed the incident and detailed the swift response of four fire engines, ensuring the safety of the 12 patients present, all of whom survived unharmed. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire, which began suddenly at approximately 4:30 am. The security guard on duty promptly alerted hospital management, law enforcement, and fire services, prompting a rapid deployment of fire brigade vehicles.

Additional officials, including SDM Amarchand Verma and CO Saviratna Gautam, also arrived on-site to oversee the evacuation of remaining patients, including children, to alternative medical facilities. While initial reports suggest a potential short circuit as the cause, further investigation is required to ascertain the precise circumstances surrounding the incident.
