First cabinet meeting of newly formed NDA government set for today.

Narendra Modi was sworn in as Prime Minister for the third consecutive time on 9 June. The oath of secrecy was administered by President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Following this, 71 Union Ministers also took their oaths. The formation of the NDA government at the Centre was thus completed. It is anticipated that the first cabinet meeting of the newly formed NDA government will take place at 5 pm today.

The Prime Minister's swearing-in ceremony was held in the Rashtrapati Bhavan courtyard, witnessed by about eight thousand people from India and abroad. Prime Minister Modi, committed to serving the 140 crore countrymen, congratulated his ministerial colleagues immediately after the ceremony. He praised his Union Council of Ministers as a balanced blend of youth and experience.

Additionally, he expressed gratitude to the international dignitaries present and reiterated his dedication to advancing the country's development. In a statement, Prime Minister Modi extended congratulations and best wishes to all the ministers sworn in as part of the NDA government.

He lauded the ministerial team for its combination of youthful energy and expertise and pledged unwavering efforts to enhance the lives of all citizens. Furthermore, he expressed heartfelt appreciation to the global dignitaries who attended the swearing-in ceremony, emphasizing India's commitment to collaborating with its close partners for the greater good of humanity.
