RBI Two Thousand Rupee Notes.
After the withdrawal of Rs 2,000 notes, the notes will now be accepted by the post office through the RBI's regional office as per the revised instructions of the Reserve Bank. Therefore, those who still have Rs 2,000 notes have the opportunity to exchange them.
The central government had decided to demonetise Rs 2,000 notes, due to which many people had to face difficulties. Now, these notes will be accepted by the post office and deposited with the Reserve Bank. The Department of Posts has appealed to the citizens to take advantage of the services of the post office to exchange notes.
The facility of sending Rs 2,000 notes to the 19 offices of the Reserve Bank of India is available at the post office counter. Customers have to send these notes by speed post (insurance cover) letter. The required form is available in the post office, fill it up and send it by speed post along with the details of the notes, two thousand rupee notes and the necessary documents.
