The State Common Entrance Examination Cell (CET Cell) in Pune will administer the entrance exam for Bachelor of Management (BBA, BMS) and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) courses from May 27th to 29th. The registration period for this exam has closed. This year, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has taken over the jurisdiction of BBA, BMS, and BCA courses.

Previously, admission to these courses relied on 12th-grade marks at the college level. However, with AICTE's oversight, accreditation is now mandatory, granting these courses professional status. Additionally, the CET Cell will centrally manage the admission process for these courses, as opposed to colleges.

The entrance exam will be held from May 27th to 29th, with registration initially extended to April 30th and then to May 5th. Commissioner of CET Cell, Mahendra Varbhuvan, disclosed that 56,790 students have registered for the BBA, BMS, BCA entrance exam, with no further registration extensions.
