In Pimpri Chinchwad Five Bangladeshi infiltrators arrested settled on the basis of fake documents.

Pimpri : The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has apprehended five Bangladeshi individuals residing in Shanti Nagar Bhosari in the Bhosari area of Pimpri Chinchwad for possessing counterfeit documentation. This incident occurred on Friday evening (25th) around 6 o'clock.

Illegal Bangladeshi Migrant Apprehended in Pune The arrested individuals include Shamim Nurol Rana (26 years old, from Jamalpur, Dhaka), Raj alias Samrat Sadan Adhikari (27 years old, from Laxmipur, Madaripur), Jalil Naru Sheikh alias Jalil Noor Mohammad Goldar (38 years old, from Char Abupur, Borisal), Wasim Aziz Ulhak Mandal alias Wasim Ajiul Haq Hira (26 years old, from Phulbaria), and Azad Shamshul Sheikh alias Abul Kalam Shamshuddin Fakir (32 years old, from Phulbaria, Mymensingh).

Those involved in creating fake documents have been charged under IPC 420, 465, 468, 471, 34, Foreign Nationals Act, Passport Act, and Passport (Entry into India) Order. Suyog Arun Lande (32 years old), a police constable from the Anti-Terrorism Squad, has lodged a report at Bhosari Police Station.

As per the authorities, the ATS was tipped off that Bangladeshi nationals were employed at Om Creative Tailor in Shantinagar, Bhosari, Pimpri Chinchwad. Subsequently, the team conducted an operation at the location and discovered that five Bangladeshi nationals were working there unlawfully. Upon inspection, it was revealed that there were no legitimate documents confirming their residency in India.

Further investigations unveiled that these individuals had crossed the India-Bangladesh border illegally and resided in India without authorization from the authorities. One of the Bangladeshi nationals assumed an Indian identity by forging an Aadhaar card, birth certificate, school leaving certificate, and passport. Additionally, they acquired a SIM card and mobile phone using falsified documents. The investigation is ongoing under the supervision of police sub-inspector centers.
