In Pune amidst extreme weather Collaboration meeting held to address electricity demand

Pune: Due to Summer Heat Surge there is an huge increase in demand for electricity, At the same time, there's a lot of wind and rain. In such a situation, to insure electricity force. (Dt-18) A collaboration meeting was held with senior officers of the Pune circle of MSEDCL and Mahatrans.

In this regard, substantially the specialized work of splitting and diverting the cargo of 400 KV, NCL 220 KV High Pressure Sub-Station and measures for new 22 KV distribution lines from some of the transmission sub-stations were decided and work was also started on a war footing in this regard.

In the meeting held at' Prakash doot Hall in Rastapeth, principal mastermind Shri. Rajendra Pawar( Maharashtra) and Shri. Anil Kolap (Transco) was the principal guest. On this occasion, all the 12division-wise transmission and distribution systems of Pune circle were reviewed and the superintendent were directed to take specialized measures consequently and maintain 24x7 collaboration at the division position to insure smooth power force through cargo operation.

There's a demand of about 3100 MW of electricity in the Pune region. But from the last couple of days, it's been really hot. As a result, the demand for electricity has increased. As a result, some of the high-pressure sub-stations and power lines of the metro are under pressure. To avoid possible pitfalls and malfunctions in the transmission system, the Load Trimming Scheme( LTS) system is in operation, due to which the power force has to be shut down in some places. In addition, unseasonal rains and hailstorms are also affecting the transmission and distribution system.

Against this background, it was decided to transfer the cargo of the 400 KV sub-station in Lonikand, Kathapur and 22 KV sub-station in Aalefata to Bableshwar 400 KV sub-station. Friday's The work will be completed by late evening. With this result, due to reduction in power cargo on Lonikand, all other consumers including substantially agrarian pumps in Manchar division will have smooth power force.

Chakan and Talegaon high- pressure power lines will also profit. Also, some power cargo from NCL 132 KV Sub Station at Ganesh khind is being diverted to Flagship 220 KV Sub Station. piecemeal from this, electricity will be supplied to power lines in Talegaon, Kamshet and Pavana of Rajguru nagar division from Khopoli.

In this meeting, the new 22 KVs of MSEDCL will be installed at sub-stations of Mahatrans, To take specialized measures for commissioning of power lines and alternately being , A plan was proposed to reduce the cargo on the power lines. Chief Rajendra Pawar and Anil Kolap gave instructions to start the work on a war footing. Superintend of Mahatrans and MSEDCL Arvind Bulbule, Yuvraj Jarg and Vittal Bhujbal were present on the occasion. Jayant Kulkarni, Amit Kulkarni and executive engineers were present.
