The Income Tax Department has been raiding bullion traders in Nashik city for the last two days. A jewelers shop in Nashik's Canada Corner area as well as his residence and other locations were searched by Income Tax officials for 30 hours. Investigation was going on at two locations of the same jeweller. 50 officers from teams of Nashik, Nagpur, Jalgaon have taken action together.

26 crore cash, 90 crore unaccounted property. In this raid, Income Tax Department officials broke the furniture in the bungalow and seized the notes. The team from Nashik, Nagpur and Jalgaon took this action during the raid that continued for 30 hours continuously. The officials raided the premises of Surana Jewelers as well as the office of their real estate business. A team also started a raid on his luxurious bungalow located in Raka Colony.
