The India Alliance leaders will meet with the Election Commission on Thursday afternoon to submit a memorandum and discuss various issues. Opposition leaders are expected to raise concerns about the BJP's alleged use of religious symbols in their election campaign. The leaders of the opposition Alliance in India will gather on Thursday to urge the immediate release of complete voting percentage figures after each phase of the Lok Sabha elections.

Opposition sources indicated that they will also address the BJP's alleged use of religious symbols in their campaign. Opposition parties, including the Congress, Trinamool Congress, and Communist Party of India (Marxist), have individually contacted the Election Commission to express worries about the delayed release of voting data for the initial two phases.

Previously, the Congress had also questioned the voting percentage of the first and second phases. Congress General Secretary Avinash Pandey had inquired about the sudden increase in the vote percentage from 60% to 66%. 11 days post-election. Pandey labelled it as deceptive to the population and demanded clarification from the Commission on the sudden rise in voting percentage after the polling day.

Addressing the BJP's assertion of 'this time four hundred times more,' he highlighted that the claim has ceased following the initial two phases of elections. The third phase of Lok Sabha elections witnessed a voting percentage of 65.68 percent, up from the previous 64.58 percent. The Election Commission noted that data is still being received from field-level polling officers, implying that final figures may vary.

Voting for 93 Lok Sabha seats across 11 states and union territories occurred on May 7, with Assam recording the highest turnout at 85.45 percent and Uttar Pradesh the lowest at 57.55 percent. The initial and second phases saw voting percentages of 66.14 percent and 66.71 percent, respectively.
