India Under-19 squad announced for the series against Australia:
The cricket fans of both nations are waiting for this blockbuster match between India and Australia. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian Under 19 team. He will play one-day and four-day matches against Australia's Under-19 team at home. Former India captain Rahul Dravid's son Samit Dravid has been named in the squad.
Rahul Dravid's son named in Indian team
Recently, the Indian men's senior team had ended its ICC trophy drought by winning the T20 World Cup under the leadership of Rahul Dravid. The BCCI has also released the schedule of the tournament. The India U-19 cricket team is currently in Australia for a three-match ODI series. The series will begin from September 21 this year. The first Test of the four-match series will be played from October 3. Two four-day matches will be played. The matches will be played in Chennai and Puducherry. A 15-member squad has been announced for the ODI series and the four-day Test series.
Samit Dravid's performance in domestic cricket
The son of legendary Indian batsman and former captain Rahul Dravid is also an avid cricket fan and is on his way to prove himself as an all-rounder. Samit Dravid has been scoring runs at the domestic level. Recently, videos of some of his big shots in the Maharaja's KSCA T20 Trophy had gone viral. Samit has scored 7, 7, 33, 16, 2, 12 and 5 runs respectively in 7 innings for Mysuru Warriors. Mohammad Aman has been named as the captain for the ODI series and Soham Patwardhan for the four-day Tests.
