Mumbai, Maharashtra – The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is celebrating a remarkable milestone as the number of beneficiaries utilizing medical services through the Balasaheb Thackeray Aapka Dawakhanas has surged to over 75 lakh. This significant increase reflects the growing confidence and reliance of Mumbaikars on the healthcare facilities provided by the BMC.

As more medical facilities open their doors, the response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive. Residents appreciate the accessibility of these clinics, which operate during convenient hours and are strategically located close to their homes. Currently, 243 hospitals under the Balasaheb Thackeray Aapka Dawakhanas program are operational, catering to the diverse health needs of Mumbai’s population. In a bid to further enhance healthcare access, the BMC has announced plans to inaugurate 37 additional clinics in the near future.
