The Central Bureau of Investigation( CBI) on Friday filed a charge distance against former road minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and 77 others in a land- for- jobs fiddle case. It's contended that Yadav's family had acquired land in lieu of furnishing jobs to ineligible campaigners in colorful departments of the Railroads when he was the Railway Minister.
The CBI has filed its third and final chargesheet in the case. The 78 indicted include Lalu Yadav, his woman Rabri Devi, son Tej Pratap, son Hema, former OSD Bhola Yadav and a former hand of Lalu Prasad. It's for the first time that Tej Pratap Yadav has been named as an indicted in the case.
A aggregate of 29 road officers, 39 campaigners and six others have been named in the list. All the indicted have been charged under colorful sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act. The campaigners had also submitted fake educational instruments for eligibility.
