Dhar : A Hindu leader on Saturday claimed icons related to Sanatan Dharma had been set up during the court commanded scientific check of the Bhojshala- Kamal Maula Masjid complex in Dhar in Madhya Pradesh, though the Muslim side in the disagreement asserted these were being recaptured from a shack and mustn't be made part of the findings.

The Madhya Pradesh High Court, on March 11, directed Archaeological Survey of India(ASI) to carry out a ‘ scientific check ’ of the Bhojshala complex, a medieval- period monument that Hindus believe is a tabernacle of Goddess Vagdevi( Saraswati) and the Muslim community calls Kamal Maula Mosque. Saturday was the 93rd day of the check.

“A aggregate of nine remains associated with Sanatana Dharma, including hero of Lord Shankar( Mahadev) and kalash, were set up at the same place in the north- eastern part of the complex. The ASI has saved them, ” Bhojshala Mukti Yagya convener Gopal Sharma said. still, Kamal Maula Welfare Society chairman Abdul Samad said the icons and gravestone particulars were coming from a shack type structure erected on the northern side where the corridor of the old structure were kept and work is being done to remove it.

“ There's mistrustfulness in this regard. We've a question? When the shack was erected, from where was the dump material brought? The material coming out of it shouldn't be added in the check. This has been our old expostulation that effects which happed latterly shouldn't be included in the check, ” Samad asserted.
