Petrol Pump Managers Accused of ₹1 Crore Embezzlement in 14-Year Scam

Pimpri: Two people working as managers at Indian Oil's Guruji Petrol Pump in Bhose, Khed taluka, have been accused of embezzling one crore rupees in fourteen years. The study was conducted between 2009 and 2023. A case has been registered at the Chakan Police Station.

According to the police, the accused worked as a manager at the petrol pump of Firyadi for the last 14 years. The accused took money from petrol pump account holders in cash and falsely stated that the amount was received online in the daily sales book. In fact, without testing the petrol and diesel nozzle daily, the money for testing petrol and diesel was withdrawn in cash and Rs 96 lakh was embezzled by showing that petrol and diesel were shorted without shorting.

A total of Rs 99.60 lakh was looted by the accused.
Computer ledger records were also destroyed to destroy evidence of fraud.
Also lost for the purpose of destroying salesbooks.
The accused did not deposit the money of petrol and diesel purchased from the petrol pump in the bank account of the complainant.
The amount has been deposited in the bank account. Further investigation is done by the police.

In this case, Dr. Avinash Shantaram Ankush (61) (Navi Mumbai). A complaint has been lodged at the Chakan police station. This was done by Siddharth Bhaguji Lagad. Khed) Advait Pratap alias Shailesh Ramsiromani Singh (Ra. Chakan-Shikrapur Road, Chakan. A case has been registered under Sections 408, 420, 201 and 34 of the IPC.
