Bengaluru : Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday handed over the murder case of a council pupil reported from Bengaluru lately to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) after the departed’s mama raised reservations against the state police and claimed pitfalls to her life and family.
The decision was taken by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah following a meeting with the mama ,K.R. Sowmya, who, along with delegation of social activists, submitted a memorandum regarding the case. Sowmya, in her submission, stated that she was raising enterprises about the non-cooperation of the original police, will full negligence, attempts to destroy substantiation, conspiracy with the manslayers, and pitfalls to her.
She demanded a comprehensive disquisition of the case, justice, and protection. Sowmya, a social activist who advocates for Dalits, oppressed communities, social justice and equivalency, stated that she's facing the most grueling time of her life following the murder of her son Prabuddha. Prabuddha, a alternate- time BBA pupil at BMS Women’s College, was boggled at her hearthstone on May 15.
“ From day one, the Subramanyapura police probing officers and platoon conducted distrustfully and caused immense pain. The platoon did n’t indeed hear when I constantly said that my son wasn't a sissy to commit self-murder. They tried to project it as a case of self-murder for the first three to four days. They helped the killer and defended his parents, who also tried to hush up the case, ” Sowmya stated.
“ The police are showing maximum negligence when I was contend on the CCTV footage. The bobbies are refusing to give a patient hail to my case. The father of the killer is running a liquor shop, and despite the destruction of substantiation no action has been taken.
They've not handed any information to the advocate at the Juvenile Justice Board, performing in the indicted coming out on bail within 10 days and moving around without any pressure, ” Sowmya charged. “ I'm a single parent as I getting my children educated with great difficulty. Now, I sweat for my life. I'm concerned about my aged mama and son, ” she said.
Prabuddha was set up dead at her hearthstone in the Subramanyapura police station limits on the evening of May 15, with her throat tear and cut marks on her hands. originally, the police registered the case as an unnatural death. After a week, they registered it as a murder case.
A 15- time-old boy was arrested in connection with the murder, and the indicted confessed that he killed the victim out of fear of being exposed over the theft of a petty quantum of plutocrat. The indicted was a friend of the departed girl’s family.
