The recent Gujarat Drugs Case has once again highlighted the issue of drug trafficking along the Gujarat coastline. A significant amount of drugs, weighing 3300 kilograms and valued at 2000 crores rupees in the international market, was confiscated in a joint operation by the Indian Navy, NCB, and Gujarat ATS at the Porbandar coastline.

The presence of Pakistani links on the drug packets has raised concerns about a potential major drug racket. Four suspects have been captured, and investigations are ongoing to determine the origin of the drugs and the scope of the network implicated in the case.
