On the other hand, MMRC has been given three dates in the first week of October by the Prime Minister's Office to dedicate the first phase. Aarey-BKC phase will be inaugurated on one of these days. Steps are being taken in this direction. Overall, the dream of Mumbaikars to travel by metro is likely to be fulfilled before Dussehra.
The 32.5 -km Colaba-Bandra-Seepz section of the 337-km-long Metro project of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is being executed by the MMRC.
