Pimple Gurav Chaos: Two Youths Arrested for Vandalising Vehicles, Attempted Stabbing

 A shocking incident unfolded in the early hours of Sunday when two local youths vandalized 14 vehicles near Mayur Nagar in Kate Puram Chowk, prompting widespread panic among residents. The accused, identified as Shashikant Dadarao Bansode (24) and Prathamesh Arun Ingale (18), were arrested by police on Tuesday. The chaos began around 4 a.m. when the pair, allegedly seeking revenge against a man named Lala Patil, confronted 22-year-old Rajesh, who was standing outside a residence.

According to police reports, they demanded the address of Patil, but when Rajesh refused to comply, the situation escalated. In a shocking turn of events, Bansode allegedly stabbed Rajesh with a sickle in an attempt on his life before turning their aggression towards parked vehicles, shattering windshields and damaging property in the vicinity. Witnesses reported that the vandals made their way through the area, targeting cars indiscriminately, and even fired a shot into the air before fleeing the scene. The local police responded quickly after receiving reports of the mayhem and were able to apprehend the suspects based on CCTV footage captured in the area.

Authorities have expressed concern over the incident, highlighting the need for increased community vigilance and police presence to prevent such violent acts in the future. Residents in Pimple Gurav and nearby Navi Sangvi are urged to report any suspicious activity to the police. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are working to determine if there are any additional accomplices involved in this reckless and dangerous act.
