PM Modi meets Sunak, Macron, Zelensky at G7 peak.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who's in Apulia, Italy for the G7 Summit, held wide- ranging addresses with heads of state and government.

Bari(Italy) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who's in Italy for the G7 Summit, on Friday held wide- ranging addresses with several crucial heads of state. PM Modi also met Pope Francis, the first Pope to attend the conference. The assignation comes as part of an outreach strategy to engage with the G7 countries the US, the UK, Germany, France, Canada, Italy and Japan- as well as some countries in Africa and Asia, including India.

Ukraine war, conflict in West Asia, climate and energy, migration, food security, use of artificial intelligence are some of the issues on the docket. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is the host of the peak. Modi met Pope Francis on his way to the peak. Modi briefed the pontiff on India's ambitious enterprise to combat climate change and its success in administering 100 crore boluses of coronavirus vaccines.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron have said that India and France are committed to enhancing cooperation in areas similar as defence, nuclear energy and space.

The two leaders held bilateral addresses on the sidelines of the G7 peak. They've met four times in a time. Macron appreciated India's enterprise in the field of artificial intelligence, regulation and digitization of the public sector.
