A woman was seriously injured after a four-wheeler driver lost control of his vehicle and rammed into a two-wheeler and two other four-wheelers in Nanded city in the Sinhagad road area. According to the police, the driver, Santosh Gaikwad, a teacher, was on his way to school in Maval on his four-wheeler. After coming near the DC Mall in Nanded City, he lost control of the vehicle and hit the woman on the bike in front of him and also hit two to three other vehicles.
The woman got severely injured in the incident. After the accident, the driver of the car, Gaikwad, was thrashed by a mob. On being apprised of the incident, the police reached the spot and arrested the accused. Further investigation is done by the police.
