Uran The water of the swash is getting defiled due to the release of chemical in the swash. As a result, it has been affected from Dadar in Pen taluka to Govthane creek in Uran.

This weakened water has affected the original fishery. The Konkan Coast Fishers's Association has demanded compensation to the original fishers. The water of this swash, which is fed to the Arabian Sea from Rasayani area of Panvel taluka, through Pen and Uran, is causing profitable difficulty to thousands of original and fishing-dependent fishers in the three taluks.

colorful types of fish have failed due to chemical defiled water in the Dadar creek area of Pen taluka for the last two days. Due to this, small and big businessmen engaged in fishing have been affected in the creek from Pen Kharpada to Uran Govthane. In this regard, the Konkan Coast Fishers Association has demanded strict action against the chemical company in Rasayani Patalganga by giving compensation to the fishers.

On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Dharam Pal Gupta, SSP Harjit Singh, fresh DC( general) Roohi Dugg, SDM Sandeep Kumar, Assistant CommissionerDr. Karamjit Singh, Civil SurgeonDr. Jugal Kishore, SP Sukhdev Singh, ACSDr. Jyoti Kaushal,Dr. Parvesh, DSP Rajesh Chhibbar among colorful others were also present. The chemical- laden water is affecting fish in the creeks of Uran, Panvel and Pen taluks. similar incidents have also passed numerous times due to the water flowing into the creek after washing the chemical holders. But the problem remains.
