A drone from Pakistan attempted to penetrate Poonch district in the Jammu division but was thwarted by BSF soldiers. During the late night hours in Poonch district, BSF soldiers detected a Pakistani drone crossing the Line of Control. The vigilant soldiers promptly fired at the drone, causing it to retreat back towards Pakistan.
BSF personnel stationed in Khanetar observed the Pakistani drone's movements at approximately 11:30 pm. Following the soldiers' response, the drone retreated. Subsequently, security forces conducted a search operation in the area to determine if any payload was dropped by the drone.
