Thiruvananthapuram : Today marks the commencement of the eleventh session of the fifteenth Kerala Legislative Assembly. The opposition is entering the House with confidence of a strong victory in the Lok Sabha elections. Their strategy involves presenting an emergency resolution notice in Barkoza on the initial day.

The day will kick off with a morning question and answer session, followed by a group photo of the members. Subsequently, the zero hour will take place. Despite the Speaker's office requesting the withdrawal of the emergency motion on the opening day, the opposition stood firm.

They explicitly stated that they would not partake in the group photo unless the urgent motion notice was given due consideration. Additionally, a bill proposing the addition of a ward in local bodies will be tabled today.
