The incident occurred post-midnight on Wednesday.
According to the police, the accused works as a security guard at a private firm.
The complainant's 9-year-old granddaughter was waiting for the school van at the gate of her society to go to school.
Ashish Rawat called her close and kissed her on the cheek.
As she was going out of the gate, he called her again and showed her the kitchen, so he dragged her to his room and molested her.
The police have registered a case of molestation and are investigating the matter.
