Ladki Bahin Yojana.
The state government has launched the 'Chief Minister My Dear Sister' scheme. Over 1 crore 40 lakh women have applied in the state since July. Out of this, the government has deposited Rs 3,000 each in the accounts of 1 crore 5 lakh beneficiaries in the state just two days ago.

The collection of this amount just before Raksha Bandhan had created a lot of happiness among the women class. There was a huge rush at the bank to withdraw money. However, in reality, the women have noticed that the amount of Rs 3,000 is not coming in hand while withdrawing money from the banks.(Ladki Bahin Yojana)

To comply with the condition that at least this amount should remain in the account, banks began to deduct the amount from the amount received from the beloved sister scheme. It was also found that some had recovered the penalty amount and some banks had recovered the amount as overdue loan instalment

The state government has issued directions to banks in this regard.
The Women and Child Development Department has instructed the banks not to deduct money from the Chief Minister's Dear Sister Scheme.
All banks have been instructed not to reduce the benefit received under the Chief Minister's My Dear Sister Scheme for any reason.

Even if the beneficiary's loan is outstanding, the money received under the Chief Minister My Dear Sister Scheme cannot be deducted for that loan.
If the beneficiary's account has been frozen for any reason, it should be restored.
Instructions have also been issued to banks. With this, the beloved sisters of the state have got relief.
