The Lok Sabha elections in India are taking place over seven phases. The initial phase occurred on April 19 followed by the second phase on April 26. The upcoming voting for the third phase is scheduled for May 7. This phase has revealed a discord between India Aghadi and BJP. The third phase will encompass voting for 93 seats across 10 states and one union territory, including 11 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra.

Notably, attention is focused on particular constituencies in Maharashtra such as Baramati, Kolhapur, and Sangli. In Maharashtra, the third phase polling on May 7 will cover 11 constituencies, including Kolhapur, Latur, Baramati, Madha, Hatkanangle, Raigad, Dharashiv (Osmanabad), Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Solapur, Sangli, and Satara.

The spotlight in the state will be on Baramati, Kolhapur, and Sangli due to recent discussions revolving around these constituencies. The reputation of many seasoned politicians is on the line for these 11 Lok Sabha seats. In Kolhapur, Shahu Maharaj Chhatrapati of Maha Vikas Aghadi will compete against candidates like Sanjay Mandlik, Satyajit Patil, Darhysheel Mane, and Raju Shetty.

Sangli will witness a battle between Sanjay Kaka Patil, Chandrahar Patil, and Vishal Patil. Meanwhile, in Baramati, Supriya Sule will face off against Sunetra Pawar. Other significant matchups include Vinayak Raut versus Narayan Rane in Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Shashikant Shinde against Udayanraje Bhosle in Satara, and Praniti Shinde against Ram Satpute in Solapur.

In Dharashiv, the competition will be between Congress' Shivajirao Kalge and Sudhakar Shringare, while Raigad will see Anant Geeta challenging Sunil Tatkare. For the third phase, a total of 93 seats will be contested on May 7, involving over 1.88 crore voters across states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Dadar Nagar Haveli and Daman-Diu, Gujarat, and Assam.

Key battles in the third phase on May 7 will feature prominent figures such as Union Minister Amit Shah, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Digvijay Singh, as well as Dimple Yadav, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, and Jyotiraditya Shinde.
