Thiruvananthapuram : The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts that the southwest monsoon will reach Kerala by May 30, one day earlier than previously expected. IMD announced on Wednesday that the conditions are conducive for the monsoon to arrive in Kerala within the next 24 hours. The earlier forecast had suggested a May 31 arrival for the monsoon in Kerala.
