Anjali

In Thiruvananthapuram : The Department of Social Justice has specified that one teacher will be assigned for every eight students at BUDS schools. It is required to verify the presence of parents during therapy sessions for differently abled students. Parents will have the option to observe therapy sessions through CCTV footage or in person. According to the department's draft, schools must document students' information, health records, and past medical history in registers.

Regulations will be implemented for any private services offered in this context. A doctor's monthly visit to each Buds school is compulsory, and students' medical records must be maintained for a minimum of five years. Annual reports from these institutions must be submitted by October 31st every year without fail. Sufficient toys should be provided for children's entertainment within and outside the school premises.

All BUDS schools must have classrooms, therapy rooms, occupational training spaces, and recreational areas. Preference will be given to differently abled individuals for caregiver and janitorial positions at BUDS schools. Teachers are required to be registered under the Indian Rehabilitation Council. Teachers with two years of experience at BUDS schools cannot be dismissed without valid reasons. Therapists' salaries will be determined based on government directives.
