Pimpri : Mahavitaran employees were beaten up for why they turned off the lights, one was arrested.

In Pimpri : employees of Mahavitaran who were working on electricity lines were violently attacked by three individuals after questioning them about the power outage. A case has been filed against the trio for impeding government work, and one of them has been apprehended. The incident occurred between 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm on Friday, the 10th, at Kumbhar Wada Sangvi in Old Sangvi. Ratnadeep Manoharrao Kale, a 39-year-old Mahavitaran employee residing in Pimple Saudagar, lodged a complaint at Sangvi Police Station.

As a result, charges have been pressed against Vaibhav Gaware, his father, and a friend under sections IPC 353, 323, 504, 506, and 34. Vaibhav Gaware has been taken into custody. According to law enforcement officials, the accused and his associates had gone to Kubharwada in Juni Sangvi to carry out maintenance on the electricity lines. The area's lights had been turned off for the task.

The accused individuals, identified as Amol Gaikwad, Prasad Gaikwad, and Badrinath Jadhav, confronted the Mahavitaran employees about why the power was cut. An altercation ensued, during which the accused verbally abused and physically assaulted the employees. Vaibhav, one of the accused, physically attacked Amol and Prasad Gaikwad, obstructing the progress of government work. Sub-Inspector of Police Kadam is overseeing the ongoing investigation.
