In Hadapsar, Pune, a murder incident involving friends occurred at Shewalewadi Manjari, More Farm in Manjari on Saturday (25th) around 8:30 pm. The accused, Rahul Dattatray Ghule, has been arrested by the Hadapsar Police Station for the murder of Santosh Bhaskar Adsul.
The deceased, Santosh Bhaskar Adsul (41 years old), was found unconscious after being attacked by Rahul at a construction site where they were drinking alcohol. Despite being taken to the hospital, Santosh was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Rahul confessed to the crime, stating he acted out of a grudge from a previous quarrel. The police, led by Police Inspector Crime Mangal, apprehended Rahul near Kalubai temple in Shewalwadi with technical assistance. The investigation is ongoing under the supervision of senior police officials in Pune.
