The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Pune has arrested a drug peddler and seized mephedrone worth Rs 7 lakh from him.

Police inspector Sudarshan Gaikwad and his team were patrolling in the area of Faraskhana police station. The information was given by Superintendent of Police (SP) Shahriar Alam. According to the police, Sagar Chavan, who was stopped at Mira Datar Dargah Road in Peth on Sunday, was taken into custody on suspicion. 32 grams of Mephedrone (MD) and other items worth Rs 6 lakh 40 thousand have been seized from him.(Pune Crime Branch News)
