The Kondhwa police have arrested a gang that was planning to rob a petrol pump in Pisoli.
Avinash Dhanaji Shinde (32 years) Rohit Raju Chaudhary (24 years) Akash Kishore Chaudhary (29 years) Vishal Kishore Chaudhary (27) Abhijit Kishore Chaudhary (23 years) The names of the arrested persons have been given. All of them are criminals.
Avinash Shinde is an accused in 13 cases of murder, attempt to murder, extortion and dacoity. His accomplices have also been booked for murder and criminal conspiracy.
According to the police, the investigation team from Kondhwa police station was patrolling on Thursday night when they received information that some criminals had gathered near the Dharmawat petrol pump in Pisoli and were preparing to commit robbery.
Accordingly, the police arrested the accused.
The police recovered Rs 91,500, an iron sword, chilli powder and two motorcycles from their possession.
