After consuming liquor, the gang threatened the youth with a sickle and took away the money from his pocket. They then vandalised 17 other vehicles. Police have arrested two young men in connection with the case.

The gang damaged 17 vehicles including 2 rickshaws, 2 mini buses, 2 elephant tempos and caused a loss of Rs 2 lakh.


According to the police, the complainant and his friend Akbar Shaikh were talking under the building when the incident took place. At that time, three people came from the bullet. They abused and threatened him. Jaisingh held both the hands of the complainant. Amar hit the complainant on his hand with an iron rod and injured him. They took away Rs. 1 lakh from him. As he walked, he flung his arms and legs in the air and let out a loud scream. Vehicles were vandalised.

Investigating officer Sub-Inspector Devre said that the accused, Amar and Jaisingh, are cousins.
Amar had called Jaisingh to his house as it was his sister's birthday.
He had consumed liquor after celebrating his birthday. He then raped the girl.
Vehicles parked on the road were damaged.
