Two people were seriously injured when a 22 KV wire of MSEDCL snapped and fell on them while they were travelling on a motorcycle. The incident took place in front of the K Vile building on the road leading from Maskey Vasti to Mukai Chowk in Ravet village at around 11: 15 am on Saturday.

According to the police, the complainant's son Rishabh Pophale and Ramhari Sathe were on their way to work. The duo was on their way to Mukai Chowk on a motorbike when a 22-kV wire snapped and fell on Rishabh. Two were seriously injured. A case has been registered against the concerned officials and employees for negligence as they did not maintain the electric line properly. The police watchdog is investigating.
