Anjali

Hyderabad : Last Saturday, former BJP MLA M. Raghunandan Rao met with the State DGP to file a complaint against BRS party MLC Venkata Rami Reddy. He requested the DGP to arrest Venkat Rami Reddy based on allegations made by former DCP Radhakishan Rao linking him to the phone-tapping case. Radhakishan stated that Rs.3 crore associated with Venkat Rami Reddy was transferred during the previous assembly elections.

Rao questioned the lack of action taken by the police against Venkat Rami Reddy and demanded answers regarding his protection. He insisted on the arrest of Venkat Rami Reddy, who is related to minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, or a response from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Rao accused the Chief Minister of shielding Venkat Rami Reddy due to their shared caste. He mentioned that the DGP reacted positively to his complaint.
