A few days ago, some people had placed a slipper of about 230 kg on the railway track to cause an accident near Kurduwadi station in Solapur division.
Fortunately, the gangman saw this in time and removed the slipper from the track. Otherwise, there could have been a major mishap.
A gas cylinder, a bottle filled with petrol and a flammable substance were kept on the track to cause the accident of Kalindi Express in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has begun its probe into the case.(Pune Railway Security)
In the backdrop of these incidents, the Railway Protection Force recently held a meeting with the Central Intelligence Bureau (IB) and the railway administration has been instructed in this regard.
