Pimpri: An employee of a book company duped a SPG International School, student of Rs 2 lakh while selling a book to an international school. On March 31, 2023, in Bhosari, the incident took place. In this case, Swaroop Saroj Mukherjee (38 yrs) Bawadhan on Tuesday. A complaint has been registered at the Bhosari police station. A case has been registered against Qayyum Abdul Choughule (RAK Plaza, Raigad) under IPC 420 and 408.
According to the police investigation, the accused Choughule has been identified as, a resident of Gurugram, Delhi. He worked at the Prolium Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd. company. SPG on Alandi Road through this company. At the International School, books worth Rs 5,34,620 were sold. The entire amount received from the sale of the book was not credited to the account of the company. The accused cheated only 3,36,620 companies of Rs 1,98,000.
A case has been registered at Bhosri Police Station in this regard. Police are conducting further investigation.
