Thane: In a shocking incident, a class seven student of Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation (BMC) was allegedly molested by showing obscene videos on her mobile phone. The police have arrested a 40-year-old man in connection with the case. When the girl refused to go to school, her parents informed the police. This has since been revealed.
The victim is a 12-year-old girl who studies in a municipal school in Bhiwandi. She has been absent from school for the past few days. When her father asked her about it, she said her teacher was molesting her by showing her obscene videos on her mobile phone. Following this, the parents approached the police. Police have registered a case under Pocso act against the accused teacher.
