Vasai- Congress attempts to govern the country under Sharia law, but Union Home Minister Amit Shah rebuked the party, vowing to prevent the implementation of Sharia law. Dr. Shah, the Mahayuti candidate for Palghar Lok Sabha Constituency, conducted a public gathering at Vasai's Suncity Maidan on Monday to endorse Hemant Savara. During the event, he strongly criticized Congress, while also disparaging Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena as 'fake'.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also criticized Uddhav Thackeray at that time. The event took place on Monday afternoon at Suncity ground in Vasai West. Present at the gathering were Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Guardian Minister of Palghar District Ravindra Chavan, MP Rajendra Gavit, candidate Hemant Savara, and others.

Amit Shah condemned Congress and Uddhav Thackeray, alleging that Congress aims to reintroduce the triple talaq system and reinstate Article 370 if it assumes power. He vehemently opposed the idea of running the country under Sharia law and asserted the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code. Amit Shah highlighted the development initiatives undertaken by the Modi government and various schemes for tribal welfare.

He also accused Congress of a 12 lakh scam. Amit Shah also criticized Uddhav Thackeray in his speech, accusing the Shiv Sena president of being aligned with Congress and disrespecting martyrs. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, in his address, praised Modi's achievements and urged support for their cause, while strongly condemning Uddhav Thackeray for alleged associations with terrorists.

The inclement weather on Monday forced Amit Shah and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to travel by road to Mumbai instead of by helicopter.
