In Pune, a hotel staff member was assaulted for a mistake in an order, leading to intervention by the Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station. Subsequently, a troubling incident involving soliciting money from the hotel employee to resolve the dispute has surfaced. Vikrant Singh, the proprietor of a restaurant in the Bharti University area, shared a video on Instagram addressing senior police officials.

Singh raised concerns about the role of law enforcement in ensuring the safety of city traders, questioning if they are transitioning from protectors to aggressors. Two evenings ago, Singh closed his restaurant around eleven-thirty, only for a group of 8 to 10 individuals to arrive past midnight and physically assault his staff over an incorrect order.

The employee attempted to flee but was pursued and attacked on the street by the perpetrators, as captured in Singh's video accusing them of pelting stones. The Bharti University Police were notified and promptly intervened to restore order, yet allegations emerged of the police demanding money from the hotel staff, as claimed by Singh. Singh's plea in the video emphasizes the need for law enforcement to prioritize the security of business owners over political figures.

The video has gained traction on social media, prompting speculation about potential actions by senior police officials in response to the situation.
