'This' MP of Shinde's Shiv Sena will become a minister in Modi's government?

Anjali

Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena has requested two ministerial positions at the Centre: one cabinet minister and one state minister. The party, which secured seven Lok Sabha seats, is pushing for these roles as part of the government formation process led by Modi. Similarly, Chandrababu Naidu's Telugu Desam Party and Nitish Kumar's JD(U), both part of the NDA alliance, are also vying for more ministerial portfolios.

Despite speculation about Shrikant Shinde, sources within Shiv Sena have refuted claims that he will be appointed as a Union Minister. Instead, senior party MPs like Pratap rao Jadhav and Srirang Barane are likely contenders for ministerial roles based on seniority. Sandipan Bhumre, a current state minister, is also under consideration for a position in the new government.
