Three bike were set on fire by pouring petrol, what really happened in Ratnagiri?

Ratnagiri: A shocking incident has recently come to light in Ratnagiri taluk where three bikes were set on fire at the same time.

A shocking incident unfolded in Ukshi of Ratnagiri taluka where unknown individuals set three cars ablaze by pouring petrol on them. The incident occurred around 11:30 pm, causing a stir in rural areas like Ukshi. The act is believed to have been driven by anger. Shivam Kelkar from Ukshi, Sawantwadi, lodged a complaint at the rural police station. According to authorities, an unidentified individual poured petrol on two motorcycles and one car, resulting in two Splendors and one Toyota catching fire at Ukshi Sawantwadi.

One motorcycle was completely destroyed, while the car sustained minor damage. The total loss is estimated at Rs.30,000, with the incident taking place between 11:30 pm and 12:00 am. Shivam Kelkar filed a complaint at the rural police station in Ratnagiri. Police arrived at the scene around 6:00 am to conduct an investigation. The damage includes approximately Rs.10,000 and Rs.5,000 for the two motorcycles, and Rs.15,000 worth of damage to the Toyota's wiring.

A case under Section 435 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the unknown perpetrator at the rural police station. Ratnagiri Rural Police are currently investigating the matter. Upon learning of the incident, Ukshi village Deputy Sarpanch Milind Khanwilkar, Police Patil Anil Jadhav, and all the residents of Sawant Gurav Wadi promptly rushed to the scene to extinguish the car fires.
